Ethel M Chocolates Review + Holiday Guide

About Them: For more than 100 years, the Mars family has shared their passion and time-honored traditions for chocolate-making. It started back in the early 1900’s when Forrest Mars, Sr., one of the founders of Mars, Inc., learned about the art of chocolate making from his mother, Ethel Mars. Ethel Mars’s teachings about chocolate making, enabled Forrest Mars Sr., and Mars, Inc., to create one of the world’s largest chocolate companies, and beloved chocolate brands such as M&M’S, SNICKERS, DOVE, TWIX and more.

Ethel M Chocolates sent me these along with some peppermint bark yummy. These chocolates I hardly got to try them out, they were eaten up fast by my husband and father in law, which was a drag, like really, you never even asked me. The ones I tried were so good and they like melted in my mouth. So with that said, they were eaten up really quickly and that must mean they were really good. I liked how they had a variety, there wasn’t anything inside that told you what was what, so it was a bite and see kind of chocolate, most of course if you’re used to eating box chocolates you can kind of tell what is what by the shape or topping.

I am so glad no one found these as soon as I saw them, I hid them. I am a huge peppermint freak when it comes to the holidays, I live candy cane peppermint treats they are so good. This one is crushed peppermints in creamy white chocolate, spread on a layer of dark premium chocolate. Made by hand and ready to give and share in a festive holiday keepsake tin, each box contains 5 to 6.4oz or approximately 6 pieces. With the tin it gives you relief it is fresh every time you go to grab a new piece, and its not to rich so you can enjoy a whole bark without the worry of getting half way threw and being like to rich can’t eat anymore. Great chocolate and looks like the company offers such a variety of chocolate for all sorts of occasions.
