DC59_MH-590x325I have always wanted a Dyson since they hit floors, I was a teenager back in the late 90’s when the cool neat designed Captureones were hitting floors. My BFF’s mom had the orange one, we always had fun using it, worked great always and never died. Plus living in that household of 4 girls with thick long hair, that Dyson never failed them, so ever since I have always wanted one, but never wanted to pay the price even though they are built well, just hard to fork out that much. This Vacuum is long, small head and handle, light weight, cordless, and very powerful. We have thick black carpet in our house, and all the vacuüm’s we ever owned have died quickly because of the thickness in the carpet. Swear though softest carpet you will ever walk on. This arrived when we were on vacation and couldn’t wait to get home and try it out. It took me like 10 seconds to put it together, few snap in’s and your done. This is cordless so comes with an internal battery. It’s sorta charged when you get it, but they want you to charge it for 4 hours before you play with it. So in the morning, I used it. This is pretty loud vacuüm, sucks great no issues at all, took up a crayon and long thin sliced paper, and hair ties no problem at all. The head moves all directions for easy reach places you normally can’t go. The head is small, but you only need to go over that spot once. Slides great on carpet, on our rug took a little more effort to push through it. There is 2 options on power mode, normal mode and max mode. Max is great for getting deep into the carpet if it’s been to long since last vacuüm, but uses more battery faster, and then normal mode for just vacuuming and got a week on that mode, vs 2 days on max mode. Our whole upstairs is carpet but kitchen, and bathrooms. This is one powerful vacuüm, and works pretty good on non carpet floors. The handle does get warm on Max mode vacuuming, but not hot to touch. Normally takes me 30 or so minutes on our old vacuüm cleaner, with this one, all rooms and hallway, stairs were done in 15 minutes max. Comes with three attachments, and of course bottom part comes off for corner cleaning as well. The canister for the vacuum is small, but it holds a lot. The filter comes out easy and you can just rinse under the sink and replace. All in all love this vacuum and was happy to throw our old one-off the deck, seriously do this.
