About them: ShurTech Brands, traces its roots to 1950, when the Melvin A. Anderson Company was founded. Anderson, a tiny industrial tape distributor, set out to supply duct and electrical tapes to area factories. Serendipitously, almost 60 years later, Shurtape Technologies, Anderson’s key supplier, would become the new parent company. However, the unique business relationship between Shurtape and the Melvin A. Anderson company would have never come to fruition had it not been for the key growth engine and eventual owner, Jack Kahl.
Just like most people, my family and I love Duck Tape. I use it for pretty much everything from fixing things, crafting, and more. I was pretty excited to receive some Duck Products to review and include in our Holiday Gift Guide this year. These products included a roll of Duck Glitter, two different rolls of Duck Tape, five rolls of Duck Washi and a roll of Duck Deco Metallic Laminate. These have all been awesome for Christmas Crafts with my kids! The Duck Glitter is my personal favorite. It measures 1.88 inches by 180 inches and came in a glittery gold. It sticks just like regular Duck Tape and the glitter doesn’t come off which is awesome! The two rolls of Duck Tape came in nice festive colors. The larger roll measured 1.88 inches by 20 yards and came in red. The smaller roll was a red and black plaid pattern and was 1.88 inches by 10 yards. The Duck Washi rolls were .75 inches by 15 yards each and they came in a variety of colors and patterns. These ones were great to make duck tape bows! They came in a dark green, yellow, lavender, grey and silver striped and a gold and pink chevron colored pattern. The roll of Duck Deco was 20 inches wide by 6 feet long. It was 10 square feet total in size and came in silver. This one is good for decorating walls, dressers, books and more! You can make ornaments, decorate cards or gift boxes and more with Duck Products this Christmas and I highly recommend them!
