About them: ShurTech Brands, traces its roots to 1950, when the Melvin A. Anderson Company was founded. Anderson, a tiny industrial tape distributor, set out to supply duct and electrical tapes to area factories. Serendipitously, almost 60 years later, Shurtape Technologies, Anderson’s key supplier, would become the new parent company. However, the unique business relationship between Shurtape and the Melvin A. Anderson company would have never come to fruition had it not been for the key growth engine and eventual owner, Jack Kahl.
I received a variety of Duck Brand products for review. The first was a roll of Original Strength Duck Tape. It is 1.88 inches wide by 55 yards long. The next was a roll of Duck Tape Max Strength. It is 1.88 inches wide as well and 45 yards long total. These are both super strong and very easy to tear off at the length you need it. The Duck Tape Max Strength is a bit thicker than the Original, but both are super nice and great for quick fixes, long term fixes, making things and a variety of other things. Right after I received them we had to put up found dog fliers and these worked great for securing the signs to poles, wood, etc. Duck Tape is a must for fixing pretty much everything! I also received T-Rex Ferociously Strong Tape. It is 1.88 inches wide and comes in a 35 yard roll. If you think Duck Tape Original and Duck Tape Max Strengths are strong, this one takes the cake! This is great for more heavy duty projects. They all work amazing but this is the one we have been using for fixes we want to last a very long time. These are all made in the USA and are super strong.
We also received some Duck Brand Easy Liner with Clorox for review. We received a couple different Solid Grip Easy Liners in white and Taupe a Super Grip Easy Liner in black.They come in 10 square foot rolls that measure 20 inches wide by 6 feet long each. These are some of the best shelf liners I have ever used! They stay in place and help keep your things from sliding around. They also have mold and mildew protection of the liner which is a huge bonus! My dad and I spent a day together for Father’s Day and we installed this on all his shelves in his shop so his tools don’t fall off. It was super easy to apply and cut to the space we wanted to cover with it. It looks great and does the job well! My dad was super excited to not only spend the day together, but also to take care of a project he has been wanting to get done for some time. These are great to have around the house, in the garage or shop or at work! They also make a great gift for dad this Father’s Day! Duck Brand has some great products and I highly recommend them for your indoor and outdoor needs this spring and summer!
