This DreamCloud – View Mattress arrived rolled, shrink wrapped, inside a giant bag to keep it protected from shipping. Then once you get that one-off and the other one-off, they give a plastic cutting tool so you don’t hurt the mattress while getting it unwrapped and letting it breathe. I took 2 people to get the full-size mattress upstairs, and about 45 minutes to get it all out of the wrapping and into place in my kid’s room.
I use this one in my child’s room so I have something to sleep on instead of the floor when I need to pull all-night when my kid starts getting his seizures again. Which this Hybrid mattress feels so amazing compared to the floor and his bed.
One of the three favorite things about this bed as it stays cold all through the night even with the silk sheets on it. That will be great coming summer and our house is 86 degrees at night, I just use more blankets in the winter so I don’t get cold through the night. The other favorite thing about thing mattress is it is so soft and comfortable it’s like the right mattress feeling for me. My special needs kid and I fight who gets to sleep on this bed when it comes to bedtime, and he is very picky on how his mattress needs to feel because it needs to be perfect for him, and he really hasn’t found the one yet, until this mattress arrived and I often find him on it when I wake up in the middle of the night to check on him. Even other guests, as well as my friend’s kids, have loved how this bed feels. My husband is another story he is very and I mean very picky to beds, we have been through many beds as you can find the reviews on the blog, on how the bed needs to be, and after I get him to finally and I mean finally try the bed out, the first thing to come out of his mouth was how cold it felt even after laying on it for more than an hour. My husband is a big guy so the coldness overpowered his heat and kept him cold as he napped on it. That says a lot coming from him, he just absolutely loved how comfortable, soft feeling formed to his body and kept him nice and cool through his nap.
