Disney Infinity 3.0 is a 2015 action-adventure sandbox video game published by Disney Interactive Studios and LucasArts for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Wii U, Xbox 360 and Xbox One, and is the third installment in the toys-to-life Disney Infinity series. Similar to how Disney Infinity 2.0 focused on Marvel characters and playsets, 3.0 has a focus on the Star Wars franchise. The game was announced on May 5, 2015.
This one is much more fun compared to the 2.0. The 2.0 was so slow at loading, the options were confusing, the 3.0 has improved on the loading time, start-up time, gaming options. The kids have more fun in the toy chest area, building up their tree house area, build ramps, roads, and many more, then play them. You do still need the clear piece to run outside the toy chest and play the real game part. For my 5-year-old, he seems to have some issues with certain parts, while the 9-year-old, got it all. When we went to Disneyland last month, I saw this in the Star Wars store in tomorrow land, and was selling for $100 which I almost bought it, tell I found out I got one for review. The Star Wars version is a ton of fun to collect the Star Wars people and pieces. You can use 2.0 pieces with the 3.0 as well, in both toy box and main game area. The board has stayed the same from both previous games, I wish they had changed it up in this one, the board isn’t very sturdy to the pieces in the grooves. Though does work well on top of other electronics just fine, which is nice. You can use the other boards as well in replace if the other one is being used, gets lost, or misplaced which is nice, because its impossible to find just the board. You can already find used pieces at GameStop for great price to use on 3.0. All in all pretty fun game and great for all age levels to play.
