From dig kits, gold kits, geology kits, and insect/bug kits. The kits come with everything you need to have a blast. The prices for these kits are pretty reasonable and would make a great Christmas present to your toddler or kids. The quality of the kits are great and are easy to use, and makes for endless hours of fun, depending which kit you get.
Discover with Dr. Cool sent our family the gold panning kit. Comes with a dish, for mining, some packets with dirt and fools gold in it, sparkly rock, dial, magnify glass, and a few more items to get your adventure going. My husband even loved the cool kit, and had a blasted doing it with our 4-year-old. Everything in the kit is plastic, and requires ages 3+ and up, for small parts, even though there really isn’t. W keeps opening up the package, and plays with the magnify glass, and the dial that you use to store your fool’s gold in. This is a great fun family thing to do, on a weekend or evening. It’s pretty quick to do, took me like 30 minutes to do, with set up, searching for the gold. I know a friend of my husband got the geo one, and they had a blast with that kit at a party. You do need a serious amount of patience if you have a 3 or 4-year-old, as they go crazy frustrated when they haven’t found the gold. No joke super serious, our kid went crazy when it was happening as fast.
