My kids and I received a DVD copy of Daniel’s Winter Wonderland for review. It has a feature running time of 60 minutes and has four great episodes on it. The episodes include A Snowy Day, Daniel’s Winter Wonderland, Neighborhood Nutcracker and Baking Mistakes. My girls love Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood so they were super excited to receive this Winter Wonderland DVD. Daniel Tiger can’t wait to play outside in the snow with Miss Elaina, his friend. He must prepare before he can have fun outside in the snow so he finds clothes that will keep him warm. He also learns that even though some outdoor activities seem scary or intimidating that he can try a little at a time until he is more comfortable and confident then it becomes easier as he goes. I love PBS because it is fun and educational for kids. Daniel Tiger teaches social and emotional skills, and practical strategies and skills that are important life skills. My girls love Daniel Tiger and this is a great DVD for their collection. If you have a preschooler, I highly recommend Daniel’s Winter Wonderland for them! This would make a great gift or stocking stuffer this holiday season!
