This camera is a bit more trickier to set up from plugged into your router to making it WiFi. It doesn’t come with the blue card, so you have to set it up by cord through your router box. Then promptly follow the steps to make it so you don’t have to keep it plugged in all the time (unless you’re doing it indoors by your router). It’s the last option bubble when you go through the steps, and you need to make sure your WSP is turned on, on your router for it to connect properly when you finally mount it outside.

This comes with a slot for a micro SD card for storing data from the day. That way if you get a breaking into, or prowlers, and/or transients, floating around your property, you will be able to track back for that data. You do need the card, or it wont store the data. This one comes with an alarm, sound, night vision, change the day or night option, zooming and much more options available directly from your device. You can also name the device whatever you want, so when people are looking for a WiFi connection they will see it haha. I use my iPhone to watch the activity and change setting. Online you can set up the motion detector, and will send you notifications when it gets sensor-ed for the area you picked. This one is great, it has handled pouring rain, 40 MPH wind/gusts, thunder storms, raining so hard you can’t even see the view.

I am very positive it will handle snow just fine. I mount mine on the trimming part of the wall by the front door, and the screws it comes with are way better for screwing into the wood. I love this camera, and has kept people from breaking into my car over and over again. I seriously hate it. We live by a trail that goes into the forest, and there is no lighting, so they just hop onto our cement bricks into our yard. I seriously hate having to worry about my cars. Between the two I own, I have had over 50 break ins, into my car, and lost a lot of valuables, and YES my car was locked every single time. The very last time they broke the alarm on my car and had to take it in to get fixed. Anyways this is a great camera and works wonderfully day and night.
