Crane is such a great and totally fun company to buy from. They are a bit pricey to buy, but the amount of use and long lasting you get its worth every penny. I picked the train, its how I met the man of my dreams I was 16 and he was barely 21, love at first site, and my kids are also obsessed with Thomas the Train so it is in our minds lots, even our wedding had a train cake theme. I love trains and fascinated by them as much as my almost 4 year old. This one isn’t much like the one I bought 3 years ago, the frog one. This one has a few more great features, the green light at the front end that tells you, you still have water left, if it goes red you’ re at the end with the water soon. Then the back wheel that took me forever to find, where you turn it on and off, and adjust the amount of steam. The steam, that comes out at the area where a normal train would release steam. This is nailed on right close to act like a normal train. The sound is pretty calm and kept quite and you can turn the tip to point where you please. This actually came in the nick of time, both kids ending up getting croup because of W preschool so it has come in handy so much lately! Love the realistic of this crane train and how well the knob of adjustment is hidden from young ones hands!
