This Convertible Car Seat weighs about ten pounds if that. This is a very light weight seat to have around. If you need a car seat that needs to be transferred from one car to another, this is a great seat to have that as. The material is pretty simple basic looking. Very comfortable to sit in, in on 4-6 hour drives when traveling. Simple cup holder that just pushes and into the side.
