About Them: Spikeball is the best sport you may have never heard of. Played 360 degrees around a mesh trampoline-like net with 4 players, the ball changes possession each time the ball goes off the net. Think 2-on-2 beach volleyball (up to three hits) with more reckless abandon, no sides, no boundaries, a hint of trash-talking and a lot of joy. What are you waiting for? Join The Movement!Spikeball has a variety of kits, goods, apparel, and few more items out for purchase. I got the Combo Meal Spikeball Kit which you can purchase for $59.99 on their site. This company also was seen on Shark Tank.
This comes with everything you need to get started. 3 balls, the pieces for the spikeball net, and a backpack to store it all in when not in use. The net was easy to set up and isn’t too big to use indoors or outdoors. The kids had fun throwing the balls on the net and bouncing up and trying to catch them. With Winston 7, Krista 5, Dakota 4, and Duncan from next door they all had a blast playing Spikeball. The balls are soft and squishy so they won’t hurt if you get smacked with one. The net is not made to be jumped on, doesn’t support much weight. This is easy to put together and put away and with the bag its great for storing away for Fall and Winter. We have had only a few sunny days here, and able to play it a couple of times, and it’s a great workout because it keeps your whole body moving at all times. After an hour or so, you’re feeling it, and it’s fun to play for sure.
