My kids and I had put together a Fox Build-a-Bot by Colorific before and loved it so I was super excited to receive more sets to try out and review. They are recommended for ages 5 and up though from 5 to 7 they will more than likely need a bit of help. We received three new sets and they included the Ladybug Set, the Scatter Ant Set and the Buzzy Bee Set. These are all super adorable robot sets that are perfect in beginner robotics and part of S.T.E.A.M learning! They help teach science, technology, engineering, and math! My 7 year old daughter is into both bugs and robotics so these are perfect for her! They each come with 23 bug pieces, 2 wings, a sticker sheet, 3 batteries, a learning guide and a build certificate. The pieces are all labeled and fairly easy to put together. They just snap together to instantly create your robot! You can build each individual robot as they come or mix and match pieces to create your own unique robots. After they are assembled, the wings and legs move as they crawl.
My kids just adore them! I really wanted to save them for my girls Easter baskets this Easter but we were way too excited to try them out. They really would make an exceptional gift for Easter, birthdays or for a just because gift to your little ones. They are fun and educational and I think they are an awesome toy! These Build-a-Bots are fun for kids and adults, collectors and anyone interested in beginner robotics. If you are looking for a fun new, entertaining toy for your kids that will introduce them to robotics and keep them occupied for hours then these Build-a-Bot sets are perfect for just that!
