I got a 9 piece and a 148 piece set, which are two different type of kits to choose from. They both do completely different things to make. Combined we were able to make tons of fun designs. These do have small metal balls, but the rest are pretty big pieces, so make sure you supervise your children who put things in mouth still. My 5-year-old loves these sets, and was able to make a few designs they had in the book, and some of his own. These are even fun for adults as well, my husband and I made a tall tower between the two sets, and got it pretty tall before it came tumbling down. The 16-year-old in the house even got off his laptop to play with the rest of us as well. These are extremely fun to play with, and keeps your kids busy for hours on end.
