My kids love to be read to and are always excited to receive new books. They have a pretty vast library of children’s books but are always eager to hear a new story. My six year old just recently learned to read in Kindergarten and is always looking for good books to practice her new reading skills with. When I received Alphabetter and the How I Did It! books she was elated! They were both written by Linda Ragsdale. Alphabetter was beautifully illustrated by Martina Hogan. It is a book that combines vocabulary words together in a fun, witty and clever way to create new words. My girls thought it was hilarious and actually learned what quite a few new words meant! My daughter absolutely loved reading How I Did It! over and over again! It is a great read for new readers and illustrated by Anoosha Syed. This is a fun one that goes through a lot of the alphabet as the letter I goes on an adventure to find out what all he can do. My girls loved both of these books and they were a great addition to their little library. They have had me read them both again and again to them and my six year old has read them out loud to me several times too. They are both fun and colorful books that are fun for all ages. Even my one year old son loves both of these books! They are fun, inspiring and creative and I highly recommend them.
