Casio was always our go to for our scientific calculators when I was a kid and going to school and now that my kids are in school it is still my go to for them. I was pretty excited to receive a Casio PRIZM fx-CG50 Calculator for review and to include in our back to school gift guide. It comes with a Quick Start Guide, a nice Protective Hard Case, a USB Cable, and four non rechargeable AAA Batteries. This calculator is so much more than just a calculator. It is phenomenal what it can do! It is easy for even the youngest of kids to use and has a brand new 3D Graph Drawing feature. This allows you to use it to apply it to real life problems and in your math class. It has easy to read and navigate buttons and a really nice screen. It has a full color display, picture plots, color links, natural inputs and outputs, spreadsheets, histograms and more. This PRIZM is great for Pre-Algebra, Algebra I and II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, AP Calculus, AP Statistics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Finances and Business. My daughter has really enjoyed getting familiar with this calculator and we look forward to years of use through all her mathematics classes. If you are looking for a calculator that can do amazing 3D Graphics then this is the one for you. It is approved for use on many tests and classes! Casio PRIZM is perfect for back to school!
