I am not a huge fan of Caillou but my kids love him and all the adventures he goes on. I mean I don’t mind it but can’t sit thru them like I can a lot of the other PBS Kids shows. They were pretty excited when they received a DVD copy of Caillou Goes Camping to watch and review. Camping is a huge part of our Summer so it was a perfect DVD for them. Caillou Goes Camping has a feature running time of 55 minutes and includes 12 different stories. These include Caillou Goes Camping, Star Light, Star Bright, Out of the Woods, The New Leaf, Fun in the Mud, Caillou Helps Grandpa, Caillou’s Rainy Day, Caillou’s Big Chill, Caillou’s Big Discovery, A Good Friend, Butterfly Surprise and The Mighty Oak. In Caillou Goes Camping, Caillou finds out that Grandpa and his Daddy went on a camping trip when his Daddy was younger. Grandpa and Caillou decide to plan a trip together by setting up a tent in the garden. That night Caillou gets a bit scared and Grandpa has to come up with a way to help Caillou. Grandpa lets Caillou look thru his telescope to look at how beautiful the stars and sky are and they end up having a blast. Caillou also gets to go on a walk with his class thru the woods and to a butterfly conservatory and much more! My kids love all the adventures Caillou gets to go on and they really enjoyed this collection of episodes on Caillou Goes Camping. This is a great DVD for your kids collection and I definitely recommend it if your kids love Caillou as much as mine do!
