Bumble Brain Box

About them: When the baby is born, it’s okay to feel elated, exhausted, and unsure—sometimes all at once. We understand that it can be overwhelming, so we’ve created a resource called Bumble Brain Box, which teaches parents how to play with their baby to help target specific areas of brain development. Bumble Brain Box is a monthly subscription that ships directly to your home and includes 5 activity cards to help target social, emotional, physical, cognitive, and auditory development, a book filled with child-psychology articles, all required materials for learning, and anywhere between 5-15 activity variations per box.

I had the pleasure of receiving a Bumble Brain Box for review. This is a really neat monthly box that provides activities and step by step instructions on how to use them and interact with your little one. My son and I received an infant Bumble Brain Box and it came with five activities to stimulate different areas in toddler development. The first area is Physical and with it came three little water toys. These included a starfish, turtle and sea horse. With these you have your baby squeeze them so they squeak then you can have them play with them in the tub, in a bucket of water or anywhere else with water. They can practice reaching, grasping and identifying animals, shapes and colors. My son just loves these. The next area is Cognitive and it came with Animal Flash Cards. You can use these to help your little one learn animal names and recognition and can count the animals on the flash cards. My son isn’t quite old enough to care but he likes looking at the pictures and we play with them anyway. The next area is Emotional and this came with two Animal Door Guards. They can be used during tummy time, as a safety feature and as a toy to put on the fridge since they have a magnet on the back of them. My son has spent countless hours playing with these. He loves putting them on and taking them off the fridge and packing them around. An Animal Clicker came for the Auditory area. Your baby can click it or you can click it for your little one. You can identify parts of the frog clickers body, teach the colors and so much more. The very last area is Social and it came with Animal Puppets. It came with 10 adorable little finger puppets and my son and my older two kiddos just love them. You can help your baby identify animals, make their sounds, point out spots, stripes, etc and so much more. My son adores this box and I really like the idea that it is teaching them as well as allowing you as a parent to engage in more in depth play with your child. They also have levels on the cards which is nice because you can use them when your little ones get older too. This is a great monthly box and I highly recommend it! You can save 15% when you subscribe by using the code SAVE15 when you order.

Disclosure: I received this product for free, in exchange for my honest review, which may differ from yours. Regardless, I only recommend products and services I used personally, and believe will be a good fit for consumers.
