Booger Balls

20160414_143054About them: Every year on April 23rd, people around the world joyously partake in this amusing(and slightly disgusting) holiday. Some people host parties, where everyone shares their best nose-picking stories. others visit public venues and count the passerbys “digging for gold.” And then there are those who revel in sharing stylized nose-picking selfies with their closest friends and family, and the rest of the internet, on this glorious and magical occasion.

20160417_144040-1My kids and family all got to partake in an epic Booger Ball Battle to celebrate International Nose Picking Day. I received a Booger Ball Kit for review and let me tell you, they are gross but fun! Making them is super easy. The kit I got came with three colors of booger mix in red, yellow and green and three packs of booger bath. It also comes with a shaker. You mix a package of booger bath with warm water in a bucket and a package of booger mix in warm water in the shaker. Once the booger mix gets thicker you use the shaker by flipping it upside down and squirt the booger mix into the lid then dunk it into the booger bath. Leave it for a minute and you get a gooey slimy booger. The outside is firmer and when you throw it, it splats. The longer you leave the booger balls in the booger bath the more firm they get. They make a mess but do not stain. My oldest thought they were gross. My youngest and my niece absolutely loved throwing them at grandma, grandpa and the targets we made for them to throw them at. You can mix one set at a time or mix all of the booger mixes and booger baths together for a huge Booger Ball battle! If you are looking for a fun way to celebrate International Nose Picking Day, celebrate by having an epic Booger Ball Battle! It is great outdoor fun for kids and adults of all ages!
