We did everything per instructions, and fed it accordingly and hung out on the banister away from kids reach, but able to see it whenever they like. But sadly ours never glowed like it should, it didn’t do much at all, and W sure was disappointed. I seen some other bloggers as well who got it too, and couldn’t get theirs to glow as well. It is like a one time use kind of product, as you only get one bag to create the start of it, but enough food to last a while. You can buy the liquid bags on the site, but looks of it, you need a proper spot for it, and in better temperature place. The bags are liquid, and toxic so keep away from little kids, the belly opens on the plastic Dino, and you fill it up and close it, and feed it once in a while according to instructions. We had it up for a month to be sure, but said it takes about two weeks to start glowing, and a month to almost fully be glowing. It was fun trying it out, and watching to see if it changes. There is a book to, talks about the Dino, and his friends along the way. it’s a pretty short book and the pictures are catchy. This is a great idea for anyone to try out, great gift, I suggest buying extra of the bags to start the process, just in case.
