About Them: BeadforLife began with a chance encounter between women. Our co-founders Torkin Wakefield, Ginny Jordan, and Devin Hibbard met Millie Grace Akena while walking through a crowded Ugandan slum. They were on their way to visit a sick woman when they saw Millie sitting on the ground outside of her mud home; she was rolling small strips of paper into colorful beads in the sweltering sun. Intrigued, they stopped to talk to her. BeadforLife is a non-profit organization empowering women to change their lives.

This being a Mother Day Gift Guide, this is a package of products to throw a party. This fun kit was fun to play with. That material in the background looks like a shirt but is actually a bag. Very cute well made dress at that. Looks like a halter top shirt bag. Love the design and the idea of the bag. Then they sent a necklace, bunch of bracelets and fun colored necklaces for throwing a mini party. Of course you only get one bag. They send a CD as well. The quality of the jewelry is pretty good, and well put together and very cute with bright or bold colors. Super fun kit and very fun to throw if you hang out with a bunch of woman.
