I absolutely loved the original Beaches so I was super excited to see this new remake. It came out on May 9th and can be found at walmart. Sometimes remakes are not as good as the originals but I really loved this modern remake. It has a feature run time of 88 minutes and is truly a heartwarming film. Two young girls named CC and Hilary came from completely different backgrounds. They met on the Venice Beach Boardwalk and though unlikely given their different backgrounds, they became lifetime friends. CC yearns to take her place in the spotlight and Hilary ends up taking after her father and becoming a lawyer. Through the years they stay close but eventually drift apart. They end up getting back together and closer than ever when Hilary’s husband leaves her pregnant and alone. It is a fantastic story of love, adventure, perseverance and friendship and is a must have! This would make a great Mother’s Day gift for you mom or other woman in your life or just a great addition to any movie collection. It will make you laugh, fill your heart with joy and make you cry. It is just fantastic and I highly recommend it!
