About Them: Barbara’s Hand-Made Cookie Pies are the evolution of the cookie into something bigger and better… a decadent fusion of traditional cookie & candy classics with a modern artisan touch. They look like a pie, but eat like a cookie! It all starts with an authentic butter cookie dough made from a 3 generation family recipe. This buttery cookie dough (a treat by itself) forms the bottom layer of each Cookie Pie; then each is filled with popular cookie & candy toppings. It’s a cookie-in–a-cookie!
These cookie pies are amazing. I haven’t tried something so yummy in so long, it was very amazing. I normally not a pie fan, but heard its in cookie style, I was blown away. When we got these, within a few hours we were more than half way through these pies. I got Rocky road which amazing. The brown part was very thick and creamy and fudge like. The crust was good with the other part, kinda bland by itself. The marshmallows are soft, tiny and very filling. This even had some walnuts on it as well. This one broke apart very easily! Then we got Almond Toffee Pie which my husband favored the most, thick, hard to pull apart, but melts in your mouth! Great pies and almost worth 20 bucks. The pies come in a box, inside is a thin clear container on bottom and lid. The lid however needs some work if you are slow eaters, the lid just kept falling off and we didn’t want to convert it to a zip lock. Even my 3 & 5-year-old enjoy these very much so. These pies can work by fridge or counter, however we prefer counter to keep it from hardening. Though if you live in a state with ants suggest bagging it up, because of the lid issue.
