One Step Gate
One Step Gate

I have put up about every gate offered by companies. We have quite a collection in our house in every doorway. The big thing that always got me, was the saying baby gates up in 10 minutes or less, which is likely never true, there is always something that stops you from making that goal. This One Step Gate, well believe it or not, it was up in under 3 minutes. Never in my life I have made that record in door open gates. This one actually went in the kids door way. We have a special needs child that doesn’t understand the meaning of staying in your room, even if we tried a million times putting him back in, his brain doesn’t function that way. He is 6 years old that doesn’t walk or talk with many every day challenges. So we need a door opening gate that would easily let our 4-year-old out to go potty or when waking up in the morning without the worry of his brother getting out. The gate is super simple. Bring the bottom bar up, snap in the rods or if needed extra poles. Then once all 4 pegs are snapped in, Push the bottom bar down and push the buttons on the pegs to expand the tightness of the gate. You don’t need any TOOLS at all. Just snap, push down, and tighten and your done, that’s it! The one thing that I love personally is the door can come off all the way when brought out sideways and lift and put away, leaving it open all the time, so the kids can go in and out of their room. Then at night slide it back in and push it into the lock mode. My 4-year-old can easily open and close the gate. Great gate and such an easy one to put up. This gate did not make the every cuss word in the book, like than previous one I put up before this one! With that said be sure to enter the giveaway for a folding tub!
