When this laptop showed up when I got home, I was super excited and stoked as I needed a new laptop even though my HP was almost 2 years old, but it was dying with the flickering screen. This laptop weighs 6.6 pounds, the screen is a 17.3-inch Full HD panel with wide-view angles screen, with a lithium battery that lasts 6 hours of cord. This comes with a powerful GeForce GTX 1050TI, Core i7 (7th generation). This also designed chiclet gaming keyboard with 4-area RGB lighting and red-backlit scissor-switch keys that offer you 2.5mm of travel distance for tactile keystrokes. Which you can control the colors of your keyboard through the ROG gaming center.
This ROG-exclusive Cooling Overboost lets you adjust fan speeds, with features an intelligent thermal design for most cooling efficiency to give ROG Strix GL753 the stability, for hard-core gamers. Also with the matte finish that has no reflection, so you won’t get distracted from gaming. The memory included in this laptop is pretty sweet. The hard drive included is 1TB 5400RPM SSH, 1TB 7200RPM SSH. Solid State Drives: 128GB/256GB SATA3 SSD. Solid State Drives: 256GB/512GB PCIE Gen3X4 SSD. This comes with windows 10 (now Microsoft office though), the chipset is Intel HM175 Express Chipset, HD web camera, reversible USB drives with an easier connection, and hyper fast data transfer. The ROG gaming center which is very cool and not something I am not used to has the system information, set up hotkey for faster in-game commands, adjust audio settings, or record gameplay. In addition, ROG GameFirst III technology optimizes network traffic for faster, lag-free online gaming. Choose between four preset package priority modes (Optimization, Game, Media Streaming, and File Sharing) from its intuitive interface.
Now to complete the important specifications of the laptop. this is what I love and dislike of this laptop. I do love the light up keys, how soft the keys are when typing. How much lighter this laptop is to carry around over my past laptops. I don’t like how the matte on this keyboard on top and the base collects finger prints so easily. I spend like 10 minutes after each use of the laptop with the provided cloth it came with, picking up all the oils off the laptop. I do love how you can change the colors of your keyboard to whatever colors you like. Love the speed of this laptop, I mainly use for work and some gaming. The quality of movies and games are off the hook, and so in detail, you can see every bit of the background, animations, and people. The speakers are a bit lower quality over my last laptop, however, I have more functional abilities. The sound is great, the bass is strong, and no rattling. You can choose different sound qualities depending on which mode you using it for, and then change that setting to sound even more perfect. All in all, this is now my top favorite laptop and my other favorite was the HP Envy. This laptop is awesome, great for gamers in mind, even the most intense gamers out there. The memory, amount of USB on this laptop, this is just a great laptop for anyone and however, you use it.
