I had the pleasure of receiving a DVD copy of Anne of Green Gables for review. It has a feature run time of 90 minutes and is an absolutely fantastic film based off the classic L.M. Montgomery’s Anne of Green Gables story. The movie takes place in 1907 on Prince Edward Island in Canada. A couple are awaiting the arrival of a boy they plan on adopting but get a girl by surprise. Anne Shirley does everything she can to stay at Green Gables farm so she doesn’t get sent back to the orphanage. Anne is extremely determined to have a new family and a new life at Green Gables. This is a heartwarming movie that the whole family will love and adore! I absolutely loved this film. I read the book such a long time ago and this film put me right back in those pages. It truly captivates the book and brings this story to life in a vibrant and wonderful way! This movie comes out on DVD November 8th and I highly recommend bringing home a copy! It would make a great gift this holiday season and a perfect addition to any family movie collection! This movie is great and I highly recommend it!
