This LED Lantern has come in handy for our boys. Our youngest is scared of the dark, we end up leaving the hallway and bathroom light on until he passes out, which makes bulb changing a real hassle. This lantern has been a real life savor. Winston will use it on the top bunk when he sleeps. He turns it onto the second (brighter) setting and stays on all night long. It uses C batteries so they will last a pretty long time. Its been on 24/7 for the past week, and hasn’t needed new batteries. It has a metal handle for carrying around, if a 5 year old can carry it around, anyone can, its like a pound or so heavy with batteries. This is great for camping, when your power goes out, night light, when grabbing something outside in the dark, or when a homeless man decides to break into your car, and you run out after the idiot.
