[Review] David’s Cookies

In 1979, David Liederman was a top chef in New York City. At the time, boutique cookie shops along the West Coast were everywhere and the smell of fresh baked, chocolate chip cookies could be smelled for miles. Chef David had the brilliant idea to bring this California trend back East, and the first David’s Cookies store was born in the heart of Manhattan. Passersby quickly fell in love with his funny shaped cookies, which were always oven fresh and loaded with heaping chunks (not chips) of chocolate. Chef David, trained in the finest French culinary academies, began mixing and tasting; using only the finest, all natural, ingredients - pure vanilla, butter, Swiss chocolate and whole nuts, he achieved his anticipated result; a uniquely delicious cookie that looked and tasted “just like mamma made!” The company was an immediate success and David’s brand of fresh baked cookies became well known throughout the Northeast and across the country. Even his name created a huge following and Davids everywhere ate up his cookies to gain one of the coveted David’s cookie tins. The delicious recipes won many awards, including the NY Newsday Cookie Award for the Best Chocolate Chunk Cookie. By the mid 1980’s, David’s Cookies was an international franchise with over 250 cookie shops throughout the world. With rising operating costs in the 1980s, many David’s Cookies storefronts closed down. The company was purchased by Fairfield Gourmet Foods Corp - a New Jersey based gourmet dessert company who rejuvenated the David’s brand by introducing these high quality cookies and frozen cookie dough into the food service and co-branding industries. Then, in the late 1990s, the company took the next step and made an online cookie store. Today, David’s Cookies is the leading provider of fresh baked cookies on the Internet, and continues to win awards including getting voted one of Good Housekeeping Magazine’s 10 Best Mail-order Goodies for Giving (or Serving), December 2007 for their mini cheesecake selections. The David’s Cookies brand is also growing by leaps and bounds in the corporate gifting industry, with new additions to their cookie gift basket selection, giant message cookies and other great gift ideas. Mighty Leaf Tea

I am a huge fan of anything iced. Its hard to find good iced tea or iced tea you can make more then one glass. Its easy to make 8 1cup of water and rest ice in the jug. Then ready in 3 minutes. I myself liked it better when the tea bag sat over night in the jug in the fridge. Released more of the tea flavor. I love how there is no sugar flavor its all natural tasting and very flavorful. 4 tea bags per box will get you a long way. I still have one of each. I gave the mini packets away but kept one of each. The top flavor was the best. I love ice tea i would drink it all day I could. Its also really good in coffee to. I mixed some in my iced coffee yummy. These teas are very good and I love them. Company ships fast and great customer service.

[Review] Stonefire Flat Breads

It’s all about authenticity, it’s about being worldly, and it’s about family. “Don’t fight tradition” is a familiar saying at the Ajmera family table. And this is always referred to in regards to flatbreads, the world’s oldest breads. For the family, the start of the journey in creating Stonefire Authentic Flatbreads was all about being true to the history, heritage and homage of these worldly breads. The Ajmera’s are very aware that the tradition of making flatbreads has been in existence for over 6,000 years. With participation from almost every corner of the world (from India comes Naan and Roti, from the Mediterranean comes Pita) the intrigue in bringing all the different shapes and textures of flatbreads to North America began. The Stonefire adventure was rooted with two unbreakable rules. Rule #1 – The flatbreads had to be utterly authentic. Only traditional baking methods and the finest ingredients would be used. Why break with tradition? Rule #2 – The flatbreads would be “preservative free” just as they were years ago.

Stonefire Flat Breads

I got these to review. These were very delicious. I love the Pita the most they were so soft and so good. I filled one with cucumber salad home made and OMG it was so good. Then one last night with salami and turkey with mustard pitawich and it was so good. Though by then the bread was starting to do what all breads do flake apart. My husband enjoyed the Naan with dip and naanwich as well. They are all so good and very soft. Plus the portion size is really worth the price. They are a wee bit expensive without a coupon but the portion size beats the smaller ones other companies have. I myself hate eating bread that doesn’t taste fresh or falls apart easily or after a day. This company can go about 7 days without it going bad, that’s awesome, plus the mold factor and we are having hot heats and they are still perfect! Company sends fast and very awesome customer service!

[Review] Baby Bedding Zone

In 2004, Laura Abro, a work at home mom with her second child on the way, was frustrated by her lack of options when trying to find the perfect crib bedding for her daughter’s nursery. With no time to run from store to store, she turned to the Internet, but was very disappointed with the available ecommerce stores. She found that they either had a very small selection of bedding sets or a poorly-designed and difficult-to-use website (often both!). She was inspired to build a better choice for new moms, and in early 2008, her dream became a reality with the launch of Baby Bedding Zone. It was an instant hit and is now one of the most popular nursery bedding stores online. Also check outunique baby bedding, designer baby bedding, and discount baby bedding. Fairyland Curtains with Tiebacks and Valance

I got this package the other day. Its the curtain in the background. It is very adorable and very heavy. We have to go buy a heavy duty metal rod to get this thing to hold on the wall. It will go in our bedroom once we remodel the room. The material is so cute and the designs are very clean and clear. Washed up just fine. Just because its so heavy I washed it alone. The box came to me really early in the morning which was very awesome, because I never get packages before my husband takes off in the morning. I love the green it meshes in very well with the castle. Company ships fast and they have such wonderful customer service!
