Community Coffee Hot & Cold

About them: Now in its 98th year, Community Coffee Company houses the largest family-owned and operated retail coffee brand in America, and four generations of the Saurage family have operated the company since its inception. Founded in 1919, Community Coffee Company is an importer, roaster and distributor of the highest-quality premium coffees and teas, using only 100% Arabica coffee beans.I have been a fan of the Community Coffee brand for as long as I can remember. I like that they offer so many different flavors and blends of coffee that changes through out the different seasons. Their latest blend is a Dark Chocolate Peppermint and is available in bags and single serve boxes. After having my first cup I would have to say it’s a nice winter coffee flavor. It’s a blend of rich dark chocolate and smooth, refreshing peppermint that reminds you of eating a piece of peppermint flavored chocolate.

Another new product in the Community Coffee line is their new Cold Brew Coffee. I think I was even more excited about this one because we drink a lot of cold coffee when the temperatures are warmer. And sometimes it can be a pain remembering to brew a strong pot so it doesn’t get watered down by the ice. Or to brew a pot ahead of time so it can cool off in the refrigerator first. With their Cold Brew bags there’s no added work. Just put the bags and the water in a pitcher and refrigerate for up to 24 (depending on how strong you want the coffee). So much simpler than brewing hot coffee just to cool it down. And let me tell you now that I’ve experienced the taste, that’s a lot better too! I’m definitely going to be keeping this on my grocery list because we go through a good amount of cold brewed coffee.
