Shutter Buddy: Your baby Snapshot sidekick Review
With the holidays approaching, Brendan Parnell was anxious to get a picture of 5-week old Audrey underneath the Christmas tree. His mother-in-law had mentioned this idea about 1000 times, and he was feeling some pressure to get the perfect shot. Audrey, however, was tired. Like a typical newborn, she was not terribly concerned with photography and would not look at the camera. As the short window between eating and sleeping began to close, Brendan had an “Ah-ha” moment. Without a word, he ran into the other room (leaving his wife, Molly, slightly confused and irritated at his disappearance). Within minutes he was back with a piece of blank paper folded into a cone and taped to the camera. On the inside of this paper he had drawn a spiral with thick black magic marker…and magic was what seemed to happen next! At only 5 weeks old, Audrey was absolutely captivated by the image. She looked right into the lens of the camera, allowing for the perfect shot. Now, if only we had used a decent camera or taken more time to set up the shot! Who knew then that these holiday pictures would be forever memorialized as the first testimonial of the ShutterBuddy? After many hours at the sewing machine and a few design changes later, we are very pleased to offer the ShutterBuddy™ to you and your family. We truly hope that our product will enrich your lives and preserve precious memories through wonderful photographs of your baby.

I got mine as a product review. Which I was excited to try out on my kiddo’s. I am also a photographer in Snohomish County in Washington state. You can also check out my Facebook page here as well! I use a Canon Rebel 2Ti, Which was a upgrade from a Fujifilm. This shutter buddy is in intended for handheld camera’s or also known as quick pixs. Although this works great on my SLR. I use it around the lens, it comes attached with a strap to hold in place.but my camera is to large for it, So I just let it hang loose, and still worked perfectly! I used it on my 1 year old and my 3 year old and worked perfectly, even though its only intended for newborns to 9 months. Both my boys attracted to it quickly, even my 1 year old started talking after he saw it! I love this thing, I will be using it on all babies/Toddlers. This will go good for getting those lil buggers to sit still! The only thing that is a draw back it covers over the flash for indoors. Although it works great outdoors in natural lighting. In all I love this product so much. I will be using this thing, tell it dies and cannot be reused anymore. Plus its for a super great price! Also this product rules, and is awesome, great for photographers!
