I’ve been eating Campbell’s Chunky soups for as long as I can remember. Growing up it was our go-to brand of soups when we needed a quick meal. Add some bread and butter and you were set! Fast forward to present day and they are still around – and even better. I recently received a nice line-up of Chunky Maxx soups to check out and boy am I glad. These new soups have 40% more meat in them and let me tell you it’s for real! Finally you don’t have to fish around for a piece of meat in every spoonful. Plus they are now available in handy microwaveable bowls so you can take them with you for a hot and delicious lunch at work. Boy would that have saved some time when I was growing up. We had to open the can and put it in our own bowl and then hope it didn’t leak in your lunch bag. Thank goodness for modern innovation. I received five of the six Chunky Maxx soups and of the ones I’ve tried so far I really like the Bison Bacon Burger. It’s a little different but man is it good. I can’t wait to try the rest of the soups in the line.
I also received a nice assortment from the Well Yes! line from Campbell’s. They’ve been around for a little while now, but I still haven’t tried them all yet. There are actually 14 different soups in the line now that it’s expanded. Well Yes! soups are made from carefully selected ingredients like kale, quinoa and barley. You know all those things people turn their noses up at when you mention them. I know I’ve been one of those people before, but not anymore now that I’ve learned to appreciate those foods inside of the Well Yes! soups that I’ve tried. So far my favorite is the Minestrone with Kale. To be honest you don’t really notice the extra stuff it all blends together quite well.
