About The Mini Bike – Introducing the Mongoose 24 Volt Powered Mini Bike! Why should little kids have all the fun? This all new 24 Volt — rechargeable battery powered ride on mini scooter is a little package of fun for the bigger kids looking for some new thrills. Recommended for one rider, ages eight plus, 120 pounds maximum; the Mongoose Powered mini bike can move up to 10 mph on low speed and up to 12 mph on high. There are tons of big features on this mini bike like the 250-watt chain driven motor, a rear wheel disk brake that is controlled on a lever on the right hand grip, air filled ten-inch diameter tires that are a chunky four inches wide, and a poly leather like stitched cushion seat. Plus, there is a kick stand, foldable foot rests, and ultra cool motorcycle styling with a Mongoose number plate up front. Riding is so much fun, the on switch is on the top of the bike and the high-low power switch is mounted under the seat. The rider controls the throttle on the right hand grip.
This very cool Mini Bike is by far the coolest and most exciting thing I have reviewed for the blog. Since the weight limit is up to 120 pounds I am able to ride this around our neighborhood. I have had this for a couple of weeks now, and I am still using the same charge it came with inside the box. I haven’t needed to charge it, though I only drive it for like 30 minutes at a time every few days, its been raining like crazy here so haven’t had a chance to tear it up yet. It took me like 10 minutes to put it together, with installing the handles, everything else was already put together. The bike is very heavy to haul around, all the important electronic pieces are well hidden inside the bike well protected against, rain, snow, and falling over. Works wonderfully in the rain even when its pouring outside. The handles there is a break on one, and the other has the part to make it go on it, you just turn the handle forward and it will go. There is a switch (and cover) right in front of the seat to power it on and off. Then has an indicator to tell you when its powered, also when you still have a full battery (green) and also one for when its dying (red) and needs to be charged. In the instructions it says to charge it for 24 hours before playing with it, but did come with a full battery. Then has a cord you use to charge and plugs into the side of the bike. All in all a very fun and addicting little bike to ride, and with it able to go up to 12 MPH depending the charge, and going up hills it can get you places. You can find this at Walmart for $249, and very well worth the price, you or your kids will love playing on this bike!
