About Them: Potty Patrol’s Potty Training Alarm Diapers are designed to notify you and your child when wetting occurs, so that you can place your child on the toilet immediately. Being placed on the toilet while the event is still fresh in your child’s mind helps them make the connection between cause and effect more quickly and effectively.
Potty Patrol well lets just say off the back this is an awesome product, and totally better than the ones out their available. This one doesn’t need any extra things (Phone or computer to tell you when) to help learn your child’s habits. We have a special needs son whom is 6 years old, and his brain doesn’t work like most kids out their and understand the process. We have been on the market for something to use to learn his habits. Since he can’t walk or talk or lets us know when he needs to be changed. Of course we have a pattern, but this product just makes things ten times easier. This product is amazing and I have been non stop talking about it, to all the mom’s out their who have challenged children that can’t understand the whole potty training process. This product is very simple and easy to use. The blue lines when they get wet they travel up to the metal snaps and trigger the box when they’re wet and will tell you when he/she is wet. This is very sensitive so on their first pee, it will go off. This plays twinkle little star song, when kids are clothed it’s very soft song, when they’re naked in diaper only its loud, but no crazy loud. I would suggest pants on them so they don’t get curious and rip the music box off, since it only attaches by snaps. Then this way you can mark in the book the date and time, and learn when they get wet. Pretty soon after a few weeks you will start to catch on when they pee, and you will be able to rush them to the potty and let them learn the idea. Potty training is a huge not so fun process, and all children are different and learn at their pace. Some toddlers do catch on quick while others are more difficult and need time, you never want to rush them, and never want to discourage them, when they don’t go. We used a star system, on our 3-year-old, and when he hit ten, he got a treat, he picked up quickly. He still sometimes has nighttime issue’s but day time he goes when he needs to. This system doesn’t work so well for poop and I only notice it trigger the bars and box when its wet more so them like poop. This product is amazing for challenged children and normal milestone children. The diapers don’t seem to have any smell to them, or added chemicals, besides what they use on the bars to trigger the box. The song box comes with batteries and is ready to use once pulled the plastic out. They come with 2 rolls of diapers, music box, and book for tracking.
