About Them: Safety 1st is driven by a single-minded focus of making the world a safer and happier place for our cherished little ones to grow up in – whether in their car seat on their first ride home, snuggled in a bassinet, or staying entertained in a bouncer.
Safety 1st sent over a nice Complete Air 70 car seat. We had a few kids try it out, and a few cars to try it out on. Some being very comfortable in the car for the size, while others were not so comfortable in. I notice skinny mini enjoy it more, vs chunky toddlers. This car seat is pretty easy to install, and put out of the car. Its not that heavy but it does have some weight to it. I like how it leans a bit for comfort in sleeping and just about everything else. None of the toddlers freaked out in it, they loved being in it. We noticed in cars the best comfortable feeling was in seats that adjust, and the front seat with little room! I like all the padding this car seat has for your child, plus the safety indicators. My Chevy Traverse handles the seat pretty well, and adjusts to the seats perfectly. I love when he falls asleep in it, his head isn’t falling or bopping around because of the angle, which helps him sleep better.
I like how the newer versions have the indicator where the strap buckle should sit properly on the child (while we did this picture in the house tested on few kids). Strong enough for them not to take off or unbuckle. The adjusting of the straps aren’t that bad, and taking the material off for washing is super easy to do and washes well. This is a great car seat to grow with your child tell they are past 70 pounds. My old one got recalled a Eddie Bauer one from many years ago, it was also very old and past its date of use, we needed a new one, for my child, not pictured above because he wasn’t having it after i put him in (special Needs child) is skinny but tall. So we needed something to hold him for a few more year(s) before we invest in special needs car seat they are expensive and we want to wait tell his growth spurts slow down he is almost 6 (Nov 1).
