About Them: Nearly one hundred nativities from all over the world—most of which have never before appeared in any book—are beautifully presented in 100 color photographs in. Nativities of the World features artisans from locales as diverse as the Czech Republic, Guyana, Burkina Faso, and Bangladesh and nativities made with materials ranging from traditional hand-carved wood, blown glass, and wool, to more unique materials such as salt dough, dried maguey cactus, and recycled bicycle parts.
Nativities of the World sent me a pretty cool book I must say. It’s very thick and has so many pages, teaching and showing you different types of Nativities, which some came to a surprise to me. Lost and lots of very cool set ups. Love how it shows you the date, place and about their set! This book is huge with so many page, you won’t nowhere to begin. Tons and tons of cool scenes.Even our kids had fun learning about this book and all the different scenes around the world in their era. This book I think we be complete if it came with a set from some era, just would make it so neat. This book it just so jammed packed with the scenes, you learn a little about them, and the date it was made, some which go back way back in the 1800’s.
