BodyMedia one those bands you wear on the upper arm vs on the pants. I prefer this way much more than those small ones. This one, you just kinda forget it’s they and go on with your life. Sometimes this band will lose readings, and I took way more steps than it shows here, and it also didn’t calculate all my readings on physical activity. I used my old one and this one to see the difference. Last night after the kids were in bed, I just kinda went into my own world and danced like crazy, to see how this worked compared to the other one. I think what happens is the bodymedia slips off the arm and will stop reading. It does need to placed in the right spot and then stay there. It says not to have it on tight, but if your dancing I would actually say you should or you will not get accurate readings. Just a few precautions when using the band. The band works great for walking, jogging, sleeping, and day-to-day life. You do program in the foods you eat, so you can get the most accurate readings in calories and weight loss. It does take a bit of time. You wear it for 23 hours, and then while its charging you add in all your foods. It takes about an hour to charge, then it will pop up to let you know. I did notice the band kinda starts to fade in the band part and will start to shed pieces of material off, with that said, just try to bug it as little as possible. All in all great product, doesn’t need batteries, charges quick, you forget its one, easy cover up, wear it all day and night.
