About Them: QUIT IT!, an as-seen-on-tv product from Jarden Consumer Solutions, uses pets’ natural instincts to quickly correct unwanted habits such as barking, scratching, chewing, jumping, and entering places in the home that are off limits. QUIT IT emits a hissing sound that triggers an instinctual “alarm” in pets, and helps to redirect behaviors. Using only safe and natural pressurized air, QUIT IT! is an effective training aide that eliminates the need for yelling or struggling to communicate with your pet. With one sound of the QUIT IT hiss, your pet’s attention is immediately redirected.
I got this very odd as seen on TV product Quit It Training Aide. But we all understand that pretty much all As seen on TV products are different. This one for once actually works and make’s sense in many ways. At first when I got this, I thought it had like chemicals in it, that you spray on pets when they are being naughty. But it’s actually air and you spray it when your animals is being naughty or doing things out of nature. It’s not that loud when you hit the button but it is noticeable noise to your pets when it is hit. Both times I did it when she started to bark, within seconds she stopped and when I started to show her the bottle without spraying it first she would stop and started to get the idea. I wouldn’t go crazy as you don’t want your pet to hate you. Just noticed it works best with a couple of sprays and a bunch of warnings before hitting the button. Now if you have cats be prepared for some funny jumps from them when you spray it lol.. Okay cats act differently than the dog did. This can remind me of the spray you use to clean out your keyboard on your computer. Pretty much the same thing, just different idea and different sound. You get 300 sprays per bottle. That’s about a month or little over on use, unless your like me and just use it a few times a week if that. I have noticed a bit of difference in how they act when they see it. Great to leave out in their site so they will notice before acting out!
