IT STARTED WITH A SIMPLE CONVERSATION… One day, back in May of 2004, a friend and former trumpet student of mine, Wesley Bullock, told me how he treated a severe lip injury with an herb called arnica montana. That conversation changed my life forever. And the result will change your approach to lip care forever. MY BACKGROUND: My name is Dan Gosling. I have been a professional trumpet player and teacher in the Midwest for over 20 years. I am all too familiar with the chapping, swelling and soreness that can strike your lips when you play a wind instrument – whether you are a beginner or a seasoned pro. After my conversation with Wes, it struck me that we musicians spend thousands of dollars on the best schooling, invest in the most expensive instruments, and buy all the high-end accessories we need to perform our best, but then, when it comes to lip care, we smear on something we find at the supermarket checkout. Or we go from store to store looking for something that just isn’t there. WHY? I began to ask my self “Why are most lip balms hard and waxy or thick and gooey? Why do they so often smell and taste bad? Why do they use all those weird ingredients? Why isn’t there a product that actually makes your lips feel better after a hard day of playing?” I realized the only way to answer that was to create something myself. FROM AN IDEA TO A REALITY: Our kitchen became my laboratory. After several months of constant research and lots of trial and error, I finally had a formula worth sharing with my musical friends and colleagues. The response was overwhelmingly positive and I knew I was on to something. Everyone agreed that ChopSaver was more effective than anything they had ever tried. (To see what some of the finest players in the world say about ChopSaver, click here.) THE STORY CONTINUES… Now, more and more non-musicians are discovering the soothing benefits of ChopSaver including, I am very proud to say, doctors and their patients with lip related problems! I got this for my husband he plays in a band time to time. He has a show on the 26th this month! They are called The Unfortunates check them out! My husband plays the Guitar and hes the Singer as well, His buddy plays the drums. They are a 2 man band! I love this stuff, we tried them out. My favorite is the gold one. Its more loose and easy to slide on. The Original is great too. That one lasts longer and great for singers. The Gold is great for drummers who sweat and drip alot, keep their lips moist! This company has great intentions for those musicians, They sure dont have many products out there to keep lips and body happy from performances or just for practice. So if you know someone or are that someone, stop by grab one and try it out yourself.
